During maintenance work, certain valves on machinery have to be locked in order to protect employees. This ball valve lockout device is used to block access to levers on standard ball valves. It stands out not only due to its low weight, it convinces mainly by the exact fit around the valve. The four arms of the lockout device make for an optimal reinforcement and easily grip even large levers. Padlocks can be exactly positioned due to the many holes on the device.

Lockout hasp made of robust and dielectric nylon

Up to 6 padlocks can be used at a time to lock the hasp

To temporarily block access to switchboards, ABUS offers different varieties of lockout hasps. With these, main power switches and thus the energy sources can easily be locked out during maintenance or service work. This is an easy and effective way to avoid accidental restarting of the machine. Up to 6 padlocks can be attached to the non-conductive plastic safety hasp. If, for example, different work steps have to be carried out by different workers on a machine, they can each lock out the machine with their respective padlock. Only when maintenance is fully complete, the last worker takes off his or her padlock and releases the main switch.

The round design with narrow shackle opening and the welding seam ensure solid safety! The Diskus® 20 padlock protects your valuables stored in trucks or vans or behind factory gates, for example. The lock is made of stainless steel inside and out, and the shackle is made of special hardened steel, which makes it particularly resistant to picking. The seam that holds the two stainless steel housing pieces together is also hand-welded on the Diskus® 20, which ships from our production facility in Germany. This means that the two halves cannot be easily broken apart and the Diskus® secures your valuables and items very well. Tip: Combine the Diskus® 20 with the matching hasp 140.

ROBUST PROTECTION
The Monobloc 92 padlock is a robust padlock with steel coating that can be installed in hard-to-reach areas.
The Monobloc 92 Padlock is a good solution, especially for rolling grilles, vending machines, and other objects with hard-to-reach locking areas. The lock has a body made of brass, which is additionally coated with steel. This makes the cylinder especially resistant to drilling and pulling. The shackle made of special steel is also robust. This padlock is key-retaining: It can only be locked with a key.

Single-pole circuit breakers can effectively be locked out by these devices. By turning the screw, the lockout device pinches the switch and blocks it from movement. During maintenance work, this procedure makes sure that switches and therefore the machines are not accidentally turned on. The non-conductive circuit breaker lockout can be used universally on any standard single-pole circuit breaker.
