EEZ Readers are the simplest method for decoding your customer’s locks. Just insert the decoder and take your readings. This H75 Focus EEZ Reader will enable you to decode the HUF 8-Wafer system. This system is found on 2000+ Ford Focus, Escape, and the Mazda Tribute. These HUF locks can be visually identified by looking at the keyway. If the shape of the key hole is off-set (not perfectly rectangular), it is HUF. With this tool, you can read 6 to 7 spaces in the lock system. After reading, you will need to progress either one or two spaces.

This system is found on many Ford model vehicles starting mid-year 1984. With this tool, you can read spaces 6 to 10 in the lock system. EEZ Readers are the simplest method for decoding your customer’s locks. Just insert the decoder and take your readings! This Chrysler 7-Cut EEZ Reader is designed to decode all North American Chrysler locks starting with the single-sided system found in the 1989 Spirit and Acclaim models. In 1990, Briggs & Stratton (now Strattec) introduced the double-sided system into the Chrysler line. The EEZ Y154 will read all locks except the 1993 trunk lock. In this case, there is a ward in the lock profile that the tool will not pass. However, you do not need to read the trunk in 1993. You can decode the entire system by using alternative locks such as ignition and door.

EEZ Readers are the simplest method for decoding your customer’s locks. Just insert the decoder and take your readings!
This H62 EEZ Reader is designed to decode the modified Ford 10 Wafer lock system. This system first appeared in 1991 on many Escort and Tracer models. Unlike the standard 10 wafer system, this does not use the first 3 spaces on any lock in the vehicle. Although, a factory original key will have all 10 cuts, you do not need these spaces to operate the locks. The code series, furthermore, has not changed.
If you prefer impressioning rather than decoding, be aware of the 5 depth wafer. It has been modified and is shorter than the rest. You can impression a 4 in the door, and have it work. But sometimes, it’s really a 5. The ignition lock is expecting a 5 and it will not work. However, the H62 EEZ Reader reads a 4 as a 4 and a 5 as a 5. This is another reason why this tool is a valuable asset to your auto work.
