The Jamb Jacket
repairs and covers damaged and splitout door jambs without the expense of replacing the whole jamb. Adds reinforcement to healthy undamaged jambs for additional security. Non-handed. Can be used on right or left hand doors. Designed to cover standard l/2″ rabbeted jamb. Finished in White Powdercoat finish for durability. (May be repainted to match existing frame.) Supplied with mounting screws. NOTE: This is a blank plate with no strike recess.

Our new Jamb Jacket is to be used with a cylindrical lock or lever with a deadbolt mounted above. The double strike model has the strike plates mounted with a 5-1/2 inch center to center spacing. It is designed for a 1-3/4” jamb and is mounted with 10 #10 screws 2-1/2” long. The Jamb Jacket is made from sheet metal approximately 1/16 inches thick and finished in White Powdercoat.

Used to repair an aluminum door jamb that has been damaged die to a break-in, or to reinforce a jamb as extra protection against forced entry. This Strike/Cylinder Gard package can be an easy add on sale when installing, servicing or changing the combinations on aluminum doors. Thin flat design will allow strike to be installed on door frame and not rub the door.
Packed with our CGA or CGD Cylinder Gard at no extra charge to make an aluminum door security package. Will work with W&F and Reflectolite type locks or punch out the “Knock-Out” and use with Adams Rite type swing bolt locks. Will fit 4″ or 41/2″ wide jambs. Easily installed by drilling six No. 20 holes in the door frame and using the steel pop rivets supplied with the strike. 14 Gauge cold rolled steel 2-15/16″x8″1. Approximately 5/64″ thick.
