Using the Battery Tester
: once you are connected to a vehicle and you log-in with your pin number, the battery tester will be located on the top header of the home screen. Here you will see a voltage read.
To Enable the Bluetooth Feature:
there should be NO cables going between the tablet and the device. Make sure you have Bluetooth manually turned OFF in the Settings section of your tablet. Go back to your home screen and select the SMARTBOX APP, once it opens select to turn ON the BLUETOOTH switch located at the bottom right hand corner of the app. Once you turn it ON, the TABLET LIGHT on the SmartBox device should turn ON. Now you may log-in using your personally created 4-digit pin number. If you would like to use the cable instead of the Bluetooth feature, please make sure you turn OFF the Bluetooth feature on your app and tablet. Now you may open the application using the cable Registrationand Basic Usage

This economically priced VATS Interrogator will work with single-sided and double-sided VATS ignitions.
How it works:

Simply insert a working metal key into the VATS probe

Turn the ignition on and attempt to start the vehicle. If it does not start, take the probe out of the ignition and wait 4 minutes. Turn the dial to the next number. Repeat this step until the vehicle starts.

When the vehicle starts, take note of the VATS key number the dial selector is on. This will be the correct VATS key number for the vehicle.

The KLS-1 kit includes the following items:

2 – ASERSM1A surface mount serial eeprom adapter

IMPORTANT: Perform the exercises in this tutorial before you begin working with any modules.

2. USING THE ASERSM1A SERIAL EEPROM IN-CIRCUIT INTERFACE ADAPTER

This document describes how to use the ASERSM1A adapter, including how the plug is attached and the purpose of the voltage selection slide switches.

IMPORTANT: Read this document and become familiar with the purpose of the slide switches as it will allow you to work suc-

cessfully with most parts in-circuit and confirm a “GOOD READ” of eeprom data. Also note the position of the black cable plug

when installed on the adapter: The BROWN wire is always on the right, below the arrow.

LOCKSMITH KIT#2 includes everything you need to work with 8 pin EEPROMs and microcontrollers found in immobilizers and ECUs. Kit#2 is designed for the locksmith who wishes to work with the more advanced technology of microcontroller EEPROM. Microcontrollers are found in immobilizers such as the BMW EWS and TOYOTA DELCO ECU. Kit#2 allows you to work with all 8 pin EEPROMs and microcontrollers in-circuit (soldered to the board). You may also work with eeproms which have been removed (unsoldered) from the module using the
optional

We are extremely happy to announce the latest step in the evolution of the Abrites TAG programmer “ Abrites PROTAG programmer. Works with the AVDI interface only.
The PROTAG programmer is the latest generation tool intended for operation with keys and transponders used in the latest authentication systems and immobilizers.
It provides all the current functionality of the Tag programmer and a lot more. PROTAG is ready to program all keys and transponders produced by our company. With the PROTAG the Abrites customers will have access to a large variety of new features, it has a solution for every case where a key programmer is needed. It has a complete coverage of key identification and provides reading, programming and authenticating for Low-frequency transponders (all types including latest generation transponders such as the Infra-Red keys produced by Mercedes-Benz).
The new PROTAG programmer is also conveniently and ergonomically shaped to provide additional ease of use and it has slots for the separate respective transponders, key, and cards that need to be programmed. The PROTAG also provides more durability when used in hard conditions. It also limits the margin for transponder positioning error.
Includes KT010 – Tag Key Tool Software
This software will provide you access to the internal memory and configuration of transponders.Available tool for
generation of keys by dump of immobilizer system of the vehicle (more than 1000 models are covered).Provided
is the ability for preliminary preparation of transponders to be ready for usage with diagnostic
