Using the Battery Tester
: once you are connected to a vehicle and you log-in with your pin number, the battery tester will be located on the top header of the home screen. Here you will see a voltage read.
To Enable the Bluetooth Feature:
there should be NO cables going between the tablet and the device. Make sure you have Bluetooth manually turned OFF in the Settings section of your tablet. Go back to your home screen and select the SMARTBOX APP, once it opens select to turn ON the BLUETOOTH switch located at the bottom right hand corner of the app. Once you turn it ON, the TABLET LIGHT on the SmartBox device should turn ON. Now you may log-in using your personally created 4-digit pin number. If you would like to use the cable instead of the Bluetooth feature, please make sure you turn OFF the Bluetooth feature on your app and tablet. Now you may open the application using the cable Registrationand Basic Usage

OE-Level Diagnostics:

Simply accessing the diagnostic modes via AutoVin or Control Unit, and you’ re able to perform diagnosis over all the systems on the vehicle’ s ECU in order to locate fault systems and retrieve DTCs.

ECU Coding –
Match Component and Flash Hidden Functions. IM608Pro can do ECU Coding the lower-grade IM508 can’t do. It enables you to reprogram adaptive data for vehicle control modules after repairs or replacements of vehicle parts just like MS908. It also has personalized settings. Using this setting feature, you can disable annoying functions and unlock the hidden functions of the scanner by setting parameters to control the sound, lights, windows, doors, etc. on the car.

Active Test –
Diagnose the Real Cause of the Troubles. This function allows the diagnostic tablet to command an actuator, such as a relay or solenoid, to see whether it’s actually performing its task. It can be used to see if all the warning lights are still functioning, if all solenoids are still working, if all the car functions are still up to par (e.g. interval of windshield wipers), etc. Use the bi-directional control to identify and trace the exact faulty part on your vehicle, and send commands to do some other advanced maintenance and service functions.

Advanced Service Functions:

Oil Reset: Reset service mileage & service intervals after engine oil is changed

EPB Service: Resetting brakes after disc or pad replacement and etc

SAS Calibration: Clear SAS fault memory and reset the current steering wheel position as the straight-ahead position in the steering angle sensor EEPROM

DPF Regeneration: Performs DPF Regeneration to clear the blockage through continuous burning of the particulate matter captured in the DPF filter and turn off DPF light

ABS/SRS Services: Perform various active/functional tests to check ABS and SRS (Airbag) systems like ABS Brake Bleeding, Pump Motor Test and checking Module Information and etc
