This class is designed to provide you with different techniques on how to Install a
Detex AO19 Low Voltage Operator
in a completely hands on experience. You will be given a chance at installing the device yourself. This will give you the opportunity to not just learn visually but you will be given a chance to do the installation yourself with guided assistance from a highly experienced technician.
The cost of this course will go towards installation materials and other costs but at the end of the course you will walk away with a

Series Automatic Operators for single doors are an easy to install, heavy duty products for high use and high abuse low energy applications. The AO19 Series meets requirements for ANSI/BHMA A156.19 (American National Standard for Power Assist and Low Energy Power Operated Doors) and provides standard features that meet the requirements of the American Disabilities Act.
AO19 Series Features:
Economical operator provides safe and easy access in medium to high-traffic and security areas
Provides ADA compliant access to handicap applications
Hanger plate allows quick installation
Adjustable delayed activation for sequenced vestibule doors
Reverse on obstruction stalls a door during closing cycle and re-activates to open if an obstruction is sensed anytime before the latch position
Power close applies a reverse power to aid in latch check position

He is experienced in assembly, technical support, design, sales, installation, and servicing of low energy automatic swing door operators. Scott is employed by Detex Corporation as a Sales Engineer and duties include product development, demonstration, and training.
