A license plate capture camera to a motor vehicle is similar to the face detection of a person. This LPR (license plate reader) camera is designed to capture footage at higher than nominal frame rates and handle the light differently. With various license plate designs and reflective coatings, a license plate recognition camera must instantaneously adapt to motor vehicle speeds, angles, distance, and ambient lighting, whether bright or low light scenarios present themselves.
Not so long ago, Security cameras that can read license plates were only available to law enforcement personnel, but today that has changed.
IC Realtime’s license plate camera can recognize plate information within a 50-foot distance and up to 30 MPH.
The security camera comes packed with true WDR (120dB), which compensates for various lighting conditions. The specialized black & white image sensor is tuned explicitly for character recognition. Coupled with a 5 to 50 mm motorized lens and rapid auto-focusing technology, it can effectively capture plate information in the rear or front of a vehicle.
Our always-on night vision license plate camera can clearly distinguish characters on the plate even with headlights directed towards it. The device provides you with critical & usable video when you need a security camera to capture license plates.
