Designed to thermomechanically remove coatings from optical fibers with cladding, this adjustable thermal stripper is perfect for stripping extremely difficult or baked-on coatings with ease. This thermal stripper also features the following:
Heater is adjustable up to 200°C, far hotter than any competing product
Has the ability to remove some fluoroacrylate undercoatings using high temperature
Adjustable temperature and time settings allow it to adapt to a wide range of acrylate coatings and cladding sizes
Supports optical fibers with cladding diameters from 30 µm to 1000 µm, with buffer diameters up to 1200 µm, including 250 µm, 400 µm, and 900 µm coated fibers
Compact and low-maintenance benchtop design makes this easy and convenient to use
Supports Fitel, Fujikura, and Ericsson fiber holder platforms, and a Universal Clamp for LDF or any other type of fiber (each sold separately)
