KLOM Face Cap Removal Tool
is a useful tool for all auto locksmiths tool boxes –
simple
pliers set that aids removal of auto lock face caps to allow access to the wafers and plugs. Also to aid the refitting of face caps to auto locks. These can remove auto lock face caps without damage.
This is not your ordinary pair of auto cap pliers. The curved end of the jaw follows the curved outside surface of the face cap to minimize the likelihood of damaging or disfiguring the outside surface of the cap.
When the lock is ready to reassemble, the old cap can be reused using the recessed inside jaws. These pliers are designed to stake spring covers, such as those used on GM sidebar locks, BMW etc.
