Description
Rosslare’s
DR-6255
is a desktop smart card CSN enrollment reader with a USB interface for use when enrolling user credentials to access control software such as Rosslare’s AxTraxNG. The reader is part of the CSN SELECT series of multi-credential technology contactless smart card (13.56 MHz) readers that support access by an NFC compatible Android smartphone app. This reader has the flexibility to read the Card Serial Number (CSN) from many smart card RFID standards implementations, perfect for transitioning from one technology to another. CSN SELECT readers are able to read the CSN from many smart card RFID standard implementations. The reader has a sleek and modern design, and is powered by the USB port itself for easy and convenient installation.

Reader Data Output Format
Appears a COM port device when connected to a PC. The standard reader outputs the Wiegand CSN data in Wiegand 26-Bit format. Other Wiegand formats are selectable using the DR-6255 Hardware Configuration Tool PC software.
