IPFX-D40V-IRB2 has a superpower – it can become invisible. When installed in a low light spot with a dark background, this black-cased FlexSmartAi 4MP dome camera fades into the background as a shadow and – with even moderate foreground light levels – all the way into virtual invisibility. Best of all, this video superhero is made in South Korea so it is TAA compliant.
YOU CAN’T SEE IT, BUT IT CLEARLY SEES YOU
It’s hard to overstate the low light capabilities of the D40V’s Starlight video chipset, especially when combined with a power zoom lens. This latest generation is a massive 2.7” CMOS video sensor delivering 0.005 Lux@ low light performance followed by 130+ feet of SmartIR illuminators for dependable video footage even indoors or outside in complete darkness.
REMOTE FOV & ZOOM CONTROL
D40V is factory equipped with a variable 2.7-13.5mm motorized zoom lens, capable of remotely changing the D40V’s field of view from a tight 28° at full 13.5mm zoom all the way out to a wide 104° at 2.7mm. This enables operators to dial in the perfect shot while checking the camera on the app or a local monitor. When ideally installed, one D40V can provide a wide view of a lobby then zoom in on a doorway or reception desk when needed. Over a cash register, bills & hand motions can be tightly monitored.
SHARP-EYED & SMART TOO
Beyond low light skills, D40V’s native 4MP resolution (2688 x 1520 pixel) for excellent D.O.R.I. performance, it enhances edge definition for the camera’s FlexSmartAi system, providing the dense data points needed for both 90% fewer false alarms and AI-enhanced intelligent motion detection (IMD) and IVS tripwire performance. Part of the D40V’s Ai is dedicated to the camera’s scene-adaptive H.265 compression that uses a multi-frame reference scheme with intelligent noise reduction and video compression, for ultra-sharp details while still saving up to 70% of bandwidth compared with standard H.265.
PROFESSIONAL GRADE, OF COURSE
D40V is a serious ONVIF, CGI, and P2P compatible surveillance tool. For alarm and access control installations, there are both alarm ports (In @ 5mA 5VDC/Out @ 300mA 12VDC) and audio in & out RCA jacks. This metal case dome has IP67 and IK10 impact ratings for weather & vandal resistance. An internal 256 Gb SD card slot for local recording is protected inside the metal case & acrylic dome. D40V uses PoE power @ 9.8 watts or 12VDC local powered with ±25% input voltage tolerance. For outdoor applications, D40V carries a 2KV lightning rating. D40V carries multiple electromagnetic & electrical certifications, including FCC rating in addition to TAA compliance.
