The IPFX-D40V-IRW2 is another variant of IC Realtime’s cutting edge FlexSmartAi 4MP dome camera that utilizes the latest generation of our Starlight video chipset. This massive 2.7” CMOS video sensor offers incredible 0.005 Lux@ low light performance and then controls the D40V’s 130+ feet SmartIR illumination for dependable video footage even in 0.00 lux darkness. The D40V is made in South Korea and TAA compliant, putting more government-funded jobs in your bid range.
Its adjustable view makes the D40V ideal for retail, commercial, school, and residential video security installations. With a remotely variable 2.7-13.5mm motorized zoom lens, the D40V’s field of view is variable from a wide 104° at 2.7mm to a tight 28° at full 13.5mm zoom. D40V’s flexibility enables you to dial in the perfect shot right from the NVR’s local monitor, through our free ICRSS PC or Mac software, or in the palm of your hand using the IC View or Dash app.
There are both alarm ports (In @ 5mA 5VDC/Out @ 300mA 12VDC) and audio in & out RCA jacks right on the camera pigtail. These ports give the ability for audio monitoring and alarm system interface.
The IPFX-D40V’s native 4MP (2688 x 1520) resolution enables highly defined video. The camera’s FlexSmartAi system enhances both camera and NVR based intelligent motion detection (IMD) and IVS tripwire performance, using deep learning & AI-enhanced detection for 90% fewer false alarms.
The IPFX-D40V uses scene-adaptive H.265 compression for flexible, multi-frame reference structure intelligent noise reduction and video compression, saving up to 70% of bandwidth and storage compared with standard H.265. The D40V also enables local recording with an internal 256 Gb SD card slot and is ONVIF / PSIA / CGI and P2P compatible. Where 9.8 watts of PoE power is not available, the D40V can be powered by 12VDC, and the D40V carries multiple electromagnetic & electrical certifications, including UL & FCC.
Tolerant of wide voltage variations, the D40V’s advanced power system allows for ±25% input voltage tolerance for the most unstable conditions and outdoor applications and carries a 2KV lightning rating. Its metal case complies with IP67 weatherproofing and IK10 impact rating making it capable of withstanding the equivalent force of 11 lbs. of force dropped from a height of 15.75 inches.
