IC Realtime’s new Max Series HDMX-B50F-IR-M1 is one of our most advanced 5MP HD over coax IR bullet cameras ever, with broad legacy video format compatibility for existing coax camera system upgrades and the capability for true 16:9 widescreen video stream when used with a wide-screen capable IC Realtime HDVR MX series HDAVS recorders (requires 5/21 or newer AVR firmware).
MULTI-FORMAT and MULTI-RESOLUTION
One of the consistent strengths in IC Realtime’s HDAVS cameras and recorders is adaptability and configuration matching to meet the needs of legacy coax/BNC video systems. This wide video format and image resolution capability have made it a lifesaver for facility maintenance and security managers and video professionals confronted with replacing failed coax/BNC cameras in existing systems while ensuring future upgrade capability. HDMX-B50F-IR-M1 continues that tradition and adds the new and exciting future ability of true native 16:9 wide-screen video streaming.
UPGRADE THE GEAR, NOT THE WIRES
HDMX-B50F-IR-M1 is the new breed of HDAVS camera with an all-new 16:9 wide-format Starlight chipset that is so light-sensitive that it holds color down to 0.001 lux – 10 times darker than a moonless night and 5 times darker than the HDAVS model it replaces. In complete darkness, HDMX-B50F lights up its SmartIR array for 260+ feet of night vision. This extraordinary chipset and night vision array team is backed by the industry’s best video management suite. IC Realtime’s systems ensure that every frame is precise and detailed with 120dB of Wide Dynamic Range, HLC-Pro highlight compensation and a host of adjustable image controls that both automatically adjust for flawless streams and allow for tweaking where needed, delivering a maximum of 5MP @ 25FPS.
FUTURE-PROOF – STEP UP WHEN READY
The video chipset is the core of any security camera, and HDMX-B50F-IR-M1 sports our newest 2880 x 1620 16:9 format 5MP sensor, perfectly pixel mapped for 16:9 widescreen viewing and recording when coupled to a wide-format capable IC Realtime HDVR. Matched to and focused on this extraordinary chip is an ultra-sharp 3.6mm F1.6 lens system with a 109° × 92° field of view. There is even a built-in audio mic for camera area sound pickup – made super easy since HDAVS empowers true “one wire” connectivity with video, audio, camera control, and even 2-way data with the HDVR for alarm triggers on the coax cable.
PROFESSIONAL-GRADE IN and OUT
Of course, since HDMX-B50F-IR-M1 is a Max series IC Realtime video security tool, it has all the commercial-grade performance and reliability our dealers and integrators have come to expect. Powered by 9.6W @12VDC with a super-wide ±30% voltage tolerance for long cable runs, HDMX-B50F is IP67 weather-rated. The camera’s case and fully adjustable mounting arm is made from cast metal, with a 3-hole, 3.56″ round metal base and access to IC Realtime’s complete range of matched weatherproof junction boxes.

We understand that with millions of coax cable-based camera systems installed around the world, and the inherent simplicity of direct-connect coax/BNC camera systems, this durable video camera format will continue in service for years to come. That’s how it should be, and it’s why we continue to offer state-of-the-art video performance, legacy adaptability, and the industry’s longest 10 Year Limited Warranty on coax camera gear like our new HDMX-B50F-IR-M1.
